STORY:
 
Isn't this a given?
 
I'm not certain which night exactly it was, but it was definitely starring into the night sky that made me come to this realization. There's just no way it's only us out here. 
 
But I can't say I always thought this way tbh like I for sure thought you were kinda weird if you really thought aliens existed when I was a kid lol 
 
A basic science lesson and a night under the stars will quickly change that though.  
 
When was the las time you stargazed? 
 
Astronomy is so facinating to me because like how even you know? Then there's space traveling too?
 
This is all so fun. Like what even are we? What's the point of all of this? What are we ultimately doing?
 
These are all constant questions I ask whenever I find myself starring into the soul of the universe. 
 
This particular night I remember I was driving through the mountains of Colorado when I did a quick star check. This is where I peek out the window and see how bright the stars are looking.
 
I rolled down my window and almost instantly slammed on the breaks. Wait what?!
 
Forget the stars... the Miky Way was SCREAMING at me! I had never ever seen it that bright before.
 
I immediately pulled over and started setting up my camera. It was sooo cold! I remember that so vividly. Must have been in the 20s. I quickly set my composition and set it to record a timelapse.
 
Nothing else to do at that point but to kick back and let the show begin. The more you stare at it the more intriguing it gets. I got cozy and spent the next hour or so completely mesmerized by the night sky as my camera did its thing.
