STORY:
There's an incredible sense of peace this phrase gives me.
Specificially while staring into a beautiful sunset.
If one thing is for damn sure is that that big ol star will make its way above that horizon tomorrow.
Life just isn't certain you know what I mean? A sunset most definitely is though.
And ever since making my way to the west coast I've seen quite a lot of them.
You see, in times when nothing feels certain, a sunset will always ground me and remind me that everything will be alright. Life is so much simpler than we ever think but that's a conversation for another time.
Something called me to California this summer and I wasn't too sure what it was.
Is this home now?
Can I just NOT go back to Florida?
idk but my soul longs for places like this I know that much.
Almost daily I would watch the sun set behind the horizon.
Some sunsets we wouldn't see each other but I knew she was there.
Kinda like that friend who's never going anywhere.
So, in this life of uncertainty... I know I will always see you tomorrow my friend.
