This trip changed my life.
It truly marked a before and after point in my journey.
You would think it’s cause it was my first time in Yosemite but it actually wasn’t. I had been here once before. However, it was the first time I was actually PRESENT in the most beautiful valley of Earth.
This made all the difference
It’s almost as if you become one with the landscape in a way I just can’t describe.
I was wayyy out of my comfort zone, I mean how couldn’t I be? This was my very first time camping. EVER! Yet I still somehow felt right at home out there.
How? Why?
I was really never into camping, clearly.
Have I really been missing out on this my entire life?!
This trip to Yosemite made me question myself and my life decisions so much.
I have never seen such rock formations before. granite walls bigger than most buildings I’ve seen. Waterfalls sprinkling their magic all over the valley.
What is this place? My heart and soul were dancing!
Can life really be this simple? I’m just merely existing out here.
I didn’t know it at the time but this was my very first invitation to my new beginning on the west coast.
Needless to say... I took it.
